Cellar wineries are sacred places, where the solemn and essential action of time is celebrated. It is here that our wine ages over the years and in some cases over decades, as its organoleptic properties which make it unique, are honed and refined in barrels and the bottle.
These rooms guard the secrets of wine, reverberate with centuries-old tradition and convey flavours.
The Balgera winery is home to two cellars: a historic cellar of around 250 sqm, with stone flooring and vault, used since the family's earliest generations for wine production, and the modern cellar, specially built to expand production facilities to around 500 sqm. The company's premises are open to the public and can be visited upon booking: our experts offer their guidance during informative tours and flavour experiences, including tastings.
Balgera Vini is also part of the Strada del Vino della Valtellina circuit, a path of over 60 km linking the most important wine makers in the Sondrio province dotted around the renowned terraces, in the heart of the Alps.
